Akol Arop (Omaha Creighton Prep) and Baylor Scheierman (Aurora) led the way with 15 points apiece to advance the Crusaders to bracket play undefeated on the weekend. John Tonje (Omaha Central) scored 14, and Shereef Mitchell (Sunrise Christian Academy) cashed in 13 points and four steals. Top-seed OSA will face second-seed Lincoln Supreme 17U Black in 17U Platinum bracket B1 tomorrow at 10:10 a.m.

OSA 15U Adidas 69 Minnesota Top Dawgs 15U 45

Hunter Sallis (Millard North) headlined OSA’s afternoon performance with 12 points on the game. The Crusaders were adept at spreading the floor and thus allowed most players to score a fair amount. 3-0 on the weekend, (1) OSA 15U Adidas will square off against (2) JC Hoops 15U at the top of the 15U bracket tomorrow morning at 9:05 a.m.

Nebraska Select 17U 100 Iowa United Select 17U 49

Three players combined for 47 of Select’s 100 points: Jacob Herbek (Grand Island Central Catholic) with 18, Jackson Hirschfeld (Centennial) 17, and Tanner Wietfeld (North Bend Central) 12. Check out (3) Nebraska Select 17U tomorrow when they face (3) Panthers 1 17U in the 17U Platinum consolation bracket B9.

(1) OSA 16U Adidas 90 (2) SOH 16U 46

Latrell Wrightsell Jr. (Omaha Central) led the way for the Crusaders with 14 points in their first bracket game. Four others also scored in double digits for OSA: PJ Ngambi (Omaha Westside) with 13, Xavier Watts (Omaha Burke) 12, Jadin Booth (Omaha Westside) 11, and Maxwell Polk (Omaha Central) 10. OSA’s defense, as usual, was impressive, forcing a notable amount of turnovers.
