Behind Carl Brown's magic buzzer-beating 3, Omaha Westside punched their ticket to state with a 54-53 district A-6 championship victory over Millard North. Senior Chase Thompson led the way for the Warriors with 18 points. Westside, fifth-seeded in the state tournament, will play fourth-seeded Omaha Central on Thursday, March 7 at 8:45 p.m. in quarterfinal play. The Mustangs finished their season with a 16-8 record.
