In pictures: Lauren West drops 31, Millard North girls take Class A
The Millard North Mustangs are your 2019 Class A girls state basketball champions, defeating Lincoln Southwest 62-52 in the title game. The 'Stangs were led by senior UMKC recruit Lauren West, who finished with an insane 31 points and 13 rebounds on the night. Jaden Ferguson had 16 points and 7 rebounds for the Silver Hawks. Millard North concludes their state championship campaign with a 23-4 record, while Southwest finishes their season at 22-5.
