We're one week down in a season that at one point seemed unlikely. Thank God!
The star-studded (1) Omaha Westside Warriors showed why they're ranked number one on Thursday, blowing out (5) Omaha Creighton Prep 42-0. That same night, (6) Elkhorn South edged (4) Millard West 30-28.
On Friday night, (3) Millard South dominated the (9) Millard North Mustangs by an eye-catching 33-0 margin. And the Papillion-La Vista Monarchs proved themselves as a sturdy squad in their 40-11 smackdown over crosstown foe Papillion-La Vista South.
