Henrich Commits to Frost and Huskers
2019 Omaha Burke linebacker Nick Henrich, a 4-star recruit and top linebacker in Nebraska according to 247Sports, has committed to continue his football career at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
“I’m very excited to say I am 1000% committed to the University of Nebraska,” Henrich said in a statement posted to his Twitter Saturday night.
Heinrich concluded his junior season with 119 total tackles - 64 solo and 55 assisted. That number includes 11 sacks for 77 total yards lost. Henrich is also the fourth in-state player of the 2019 class to commit to Scott Frost and the Huskers.
“Love seeing the in state talent recruited and landed by Nebraska,” longtime Husker fan Brad Novotny said.
Henrich’s senior campaign will begin when the Bulldogs take on Lincoln Southeast on Friday, August 24 at 7:00 p.m.
